Artist: Setrise
Melle Bakker who holds the name DJ Setrise was born in Amsterdam on the 5th of August 1991. After living in places like Hong Kong, London and Germany Melle moved back to the Netherlands and in 2001 he started to listen to trance music. A few years later Melle would start making some of his own tracks and bought his DJ-gear. Soon after that he would start experimenting with house and mixing it with classic music. That experimenting brought him to the Progressive style he has today. He stands for melodic music combined with good low drums with a tremendous vibe. Setrise says he uses only 20% of the tracks he buys as not all tracks have the vibe he wants. Another progressive side of DJ Setrise is his mixing style. When Setrise is performing he tends to mix the tunes of two tracks, which combines the tracks together in a 'mash-up': long-range mixing. Currently DJ Setrise has performed at a few clubs and events. Setrise is still experimenting with producing, which has already shown some respected releases in a wide genre range.
