Paul began his career on the underground Hard House circuit in Sheffield back in ’98. These days he is recognized more on an International level, playing regularly at major clubs in the UK and numerous gigs all over the world. Apart from his ground breaking original productions, Paul is constantly in high demand as a remixer and has had releases & remixes on all of the top HardHouse labels including Tidy Trax, Nukleuz, VC Recordings, FTR, Kaktai, Energy UK, Banging Tunes, Tripoli Trax & Short Circuit to name a few.
In 2001, Paul won the ‘Remixer Of The Year’ award in the ’Energy UK Annual Reader’s Poll’ as well as ‘Remix Of The Year’ with his mammoth remix of ‘Miss Shiva - Dreams’. If that wasn’t enough, he placed 3rd ‘Producer Of The Year’, 3rd ‘Best Tune Of The Year’ with his ‘Beautiful’ and 3rd place for ‘Resident Of The Year’ (Insomniacz).
The ‘2002 Annual Energy UK Readers Poll’ saw Paul jump to 2nd place for ‘Producer of The Year’, clinch 2nd place for ‘DJ Of The Year’ and 3rd place for ‘Remixer Of The Year’. Paul & Less Harris’ very successful venture, ‘Vicious Circle Records’, walked away with 2nd prize for ‘Overall Label Of The Year’ and to top things off … the first Vicious Circle Album, '‘One from The Hard Box’', mixed by Paul and ‘Andy Farley’, walked away with top honors as the ‘Album Of The Year’ for 2002 !!
2002 also saw Paul rank 88th in the ‘DJ Mag’ top 100 and he climbed 8 places to rank 80th in 2003 ... Enough said !!
